print high school and college yearbooks. The
process is simple. You contact us with information
about the yearbook/annual you have. We provide you with
a quote for the service. You send the yearbook(s)
to us. We scan in the pages to your
specifications. We then return your print yearbook
and send you the digital files for the yearbook.
Yearbook Digital is small company that offers personalized service.
We are willing to take on small projects (one yearbook
at a time) or larger collections. We are not
limited to just yearbooks, we will also provide digital
images for your pamphlets, brochures, scrapbooks, etc.
We are a company that observes copyright laws. We
work primarily with materials that are in the public
domain or documents of which permission has been granted
to reproduce the original print document in a digital
format.

create a webpage for you within our website and host
your pages for a small fee.

It is difficult to provide flat rates for this type of
service. Your collection and requirements will
vary from other clients. We will be able to
provide pricing when we understand the size and
condition of your materials; the type of image output
you desire (size, file format, alteration); and how you
would like the images delivered. |

We offer scanning using either color, black-and-white,
or grayscale. The resolution or dpi (dots per
inch) offered is 200, 300, and 600 dpi. The pages
will be scanned in one at a time for most yearbooks.
Smaller pamphlets or brochures can be scanned in two
pages at a time.

We are able to prepare the digital images using a
variety of file formats. The most common formats
are TIFF (Tagged Image File Format), JPEG (Joint
Photographic Experts Group), or GIF (Graphics
Interchange Format). We can also supply thumbnails
of the images to be used on websites. See our page

The images can be delivered by a CD mailed to you or
transferred by ftp to your location.

We can "clean up" the images for you. Using
digital processes, we can crop the pages to eliminate
the non-relevant white space around the page
images/type, make type darker, remove the moiré from
halftones, remove some of the yellowing or brown spots.
