Yearbook Digital
School Yearbook Digitization Services

We will only provide digital imaging for yearbooks or publications that are in the public domain in the United States.  We will also provide this service to the copyright holder of a publication or those that have received permission from the original copyright holder if the work is not in the public domain.

An example of someone who holds the copyright for a set of yearbooks, would be a high school that is requesting that their own yearbooks be digitized.

How do you know if a publication is in the public domain?  There are numerous websites that explain this.  These include the U.S. Copyright Office and university websites.  We have listed a few websites below that you may refer to.  For our purposes, we have provided a small table to the right to guide you.
